Where is my data stored, and who processes it?
Your data is stored and processed by established cloud and AI providers bound by data processing agreements; transfers outside the EU rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The full list of providers is in the Privacy Policy.
Who is responsible for candidate data under the GDPR?
Your organization is the data controller for the candidate data you upload. Shortli acts as data processor and processes it only on your instructions. For your account data, Shortli is the controller.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Nothing is charged. Your data stays in your account for at least 90 days, so if you subscribe you find everything as you left it.
Which CV formats can I upload?
PDF files. The CV can be written in any language: Shortli reads it and builds the profile in a consistent structure.
Which languages does Shortli support?
The interface is available in English, Italian, German, French and Spanish. CVs and job descriptions can be in any language.
Which sectors does Shortli cover?
Today it is built for IT & Digital roles: developers, engineers, data, cloud, security, product and design. More sectors are coming.
How do I cancel?
From the billing page, at any time. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for; you can also ask us for a pro-rata refund of the unused part by writing to hello@shortli.ai.
